First highlights from the agenda
Introducing the Solution Exchange - An Open Text sponsored community for innovation
The Solution Exchange aims to evolve into a useful community resource for those using Open Text products. Aimed initially at those using the Web Site Management product set, we will show how and why we have built this using RedDot and Vignette technology.
Danny Baggs, Open TextIntegrating Open Text Web Solutions 10 in SAP NetWeaver Portal - Combining content and applications in a single interface
Users access business processes and enterprise data via the SAP NetWeaver Portal. Now thanks to the integration of Open Text Web Solutions, even unstructured content can be made available in the portal in a customized fashion. This allows users to access all relevant data, information and applications with a single login in one standard interface. It reduces search times and support costs. And thanks to Open Text Web Solutions, the portal search will also find supplied content.
The seamless integration means that portal content supplied by Delivery Server can be edited by authorized editors at the click of a button. In addition, the editors can maintain the portal navigation in defined areas, which reduces the workload for the portal administration. This integration is described in the presentation and demonstrated live in a practical example.
