Mit der offiziellen Roadmap-Aktualisierung Ende Juni 2023 steht der Erscheinungstermin der neuen Hauptversion 16.8 fest: sie ist im vierten Quartal 2023 erschienen, garantiert fünf Jahre Updates & Support und umfasst Folgendes:

Damit setzt der Hersteller seine Versprechen aus dem Frühjahr 2022 um:
Die Usergroup ist seit längerem in Kontakt mit dem Hersteller und in Diskussion über die zukünftige WSM-Strategie. Am 2. Februar 2022 haben wir folgende Aussage vom VP Product Management Digital Experience erhalten:
First, we are not ending active support for Web Site Management. We will provide ongoing support so that WSM customers can continue making maximum use of the current product capabilities, including platform updates, defect fixes, and security fixes.
Second, we are planning for a new WSM release in calendar year 2023. The product lifecycle and version information will be revised at that time.
